Hi! Would like to ask what is mean I had ENA blood test pozitive. And also I have bone joint problems start at 12 years now I’m 33. But 2and half years ago I start getting fever non stop 37-38.5 Celsius.Feeling very tired losing my hair night abnormal sweat headache increased blood pressure stomach problems. It’s can be lupus? Thanks

My mother is suffering from AIHA from past 2 years. She is under treatment @ appolo hospital kolkata under hematoalogist Dr Soumya Bhattacjarya. She was on steroid for around 1 year but it did not work , so now 4 rituximab injection is advised and 1 is already given but now found infection in her body after this. Is there a permanent treatment for this AIHA other than suppressing immune system.

Have been on mycophenolate for 2 month after having IVIG for three years (for Myathsenia gravis) can only walk 3 or 4 days a week ( due to osteo, left knee or rhematoid arthritis) Have lost over 40 pounds in 7 weeks, because I can only taste about 30% of my food. I only eat between 1000-1200 calories per day, because i simply dont want to ( morbidly obese 260 pounds now). Arm and leg weakness but that is most likely the arthritis. Mayathsenia appears to be in remmission after Chemo ( but clinicaly that will only last another 7 or 8 month) Hopefully the mycophenolate does its job by then ( takes 3 - 4 months to kick in).

I also Have shingles right now but no rash so far. It feels like 3rd degree Burns. Gabapentin 3 x daily doesn't help At all.

I've seen many Doctors they just prescribed antibiotics which obviously had nothing to do with my condition but I still believe it has something to do with the weather because for me it occurs seasonally and I have noticed that it swells just before it rains or the air feels dense but diminishes as soon as the weather becomes clearer.. for Info I live in central part of Africa

I'm confused I had blood work done and it showed early Sjogren's profile my neurologist says he thinks i have Lupus and Sjogren's, but my autoimmune disorder says the inflamed joints are from being fat and I'm not diabetic I'm prediabetic. I'm having a flare up of the Sjogren's the worst issue is extreme dry mouth its horrible IM SO ANNOYED! PLEASE HELP

Hey Samantha, I was DX with MS 18 years ago and now facing lupus as well. This last episode I had I kept tracked because when I had this FLARE I call it.. I had cluster of symptoms that all had to deal with inflammation,but I just worked outside and it shut me down for 10 days..symptoms- bilateral small joint pain in hands and feet, bouts of nausea, urinary issues, include large blood in urine in toilet showed on urinalysis but also got a UTI which I never get, fatigue, severe swelling, pain in elbows and all over, I count eat for the last 4 days of it. This was new for me all at once, I have every symptom of Lupus including the blood work. But because the doctors are so hung up on a positive ANA I’ve had to just got to a specialist that would listen. I have had 2 positive ANA and 10 negative. I will say this. Keep all records of blood work and testing. You can get your medical records free… just have to be persistent is the key..with Lupus it’s not a clear thing and ANA is so non specific. Research showed 30% people positive ANA are normal. So just asking the question, why are you so hung up on one non specific blood test when you have multiple check points. On the flip side.. doctors have trouble because so many autoimmune diseases cross over symptoms..and there are a lot. So yes I have had a positive ANA and negative. My negative even showed up recently when I was in a flare..so no it can show negative even if in the middle of a flare to also include even a normal ESR levels…which made no sense because I was swollen and all my body was inflammation. Keep persistent Lupus family..❤

I have it badly. I also thought it may be improving and then I was frying eggs the other day and touching the cold eggs to crack them triggered it and a day or 2 later I went to the shop and bought some cream and cheese. I was wearing gloves and all of a sudden I lost all blood to both hands and had to ask the shop assistant to help Asa I could not touch anything or my blood vessels burst. I have never had both hands do that with all fingers. I had to sit at the supermarket for half an hour trying to warm them. I fortunately had 1 heating pad with me. It is very dangerous but my friends do not take me seriously and its difficult to say to them I cannot do this or that due to the Reynauds and the just give me grief. It happens In boiling summer from a cool breeze, when I am training, I also have to wear a jacket and gloves when lifting weights. My training partners mock me about it all, the time. It’s very frustrating. You can’t explain it. To them and they treat you like a weakling yet you are the complete opposite. You are risking losing your fingers by training. I cannot shower, I have to bath.

I use biotene dry mouth gel at night. Xmelts dont work for me.

I started pilates because of the tik tok trend and found some affordable classes at the local Y. I loved them. It was such a good, gentle way to be active.

I left my full time banking career and over the years kept trying to work ft pt wfh you name it I tried it. I have recently decided that I have to make it work on my own. So I started a small hair care line. It’s been really hard but I know working on building a business is better than working on someone else’s timetable. I can recommend pt wfh positions but they pay poverty wages 😂
